Central Election Commission resumes work of voter register for first time since full-scale invasion – Arakhamia
On Tuesday, December 23, for the first time since the full-scale invasion, the work of the State Voter Register was resumed by the Central Election Commission's resolution, said David Arakhamia, head of the Servant of the People party faction in the Verkhovna Rada.
"This, in fact, paves the way for the resumption of interaction between the CEC and citizens and authorities in terms of working with the register and, as a result, updating it," Arakhamia wrote in the Telegram channel.
He emphasized that updating the voter register is one of the basic conditions for holding any elections.
"The war has greatly affected demographic indicators and this should be reflected in the register. There is plenty of work in this direction," the people's deputy summed up.
