Zelenskyy reports on combat use of Flamingo and Ruta missiles
Flamingo and Ruta missiles have been used in combat, and Ukraine is doing everything possible to deploy not just one, two, or even three missiles this year, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
"Flamingo was used in combat. Ruta was used in combat. We're doing everything we can to ensure that this year we try not just one, two, or three, but that we seriously tested them in operation. We're moving toward that. We believe we'll succeed. We have high hopes for it. Because our repeated use has already shown that it can produce effective results," he said during his conversation with reporters.
Furthermore, Ukraine only uses Storm Shadow missiles in normal quantities and a smaller quantity of SCALP missiles of European long-range weapons, as it lacks other weapons.
According to the president, 90-95% of long-range hits are caused by domestically produced weapons.
