Kallas: 25 EU countries will be parties to Special Tribunal for Investigation of Crimes of Russian Aggression

Already 25 member states of the European Union have committed to becoming parties to the Special Tribunal for the investigation of crimes of aggression committed by Russia during its war with Ukraine.

EU High Representative Kaja Kallas announced this in Luxembourg following a meeting of EU foreign ministers on Monday.

Regarding accountability, she said that last week in Kyiv she announced the allocation of EUR 10 million to establish a Special Tribunal to investigate crimes of aggression.

According to Kallas, this brings us one step closer to the tribunal's commencement of work. She also said that full cost estimates must first come from the Netherlands, and then they will proceed to hold Putin accountable.
