Russia hits energy facility in Chernihiv’s Nizhyn district overnight
Over the past day, the Russia has carried out another attack on energy facilities in the Chernihiv region, in particular, striking one in Nyzhyn district.
"The enemy does not stop the large-scale attack on the energy system of our region. We have another hit on an energy facility in the Nizhyn district and 2,700 subscribers without electricity," Chernihivblenergo said on Telegram early on Monday morning.
According to the company, energy workers have been working hard since the evening of October 19 to eliminate the consequences of the strike, but the damage is very extensive.
"It was a difficult night for energy workers. And, unfortunately, the morning of not every consumer in the Chernihiv region began with connecting electricity, but we are working," the regional energy company reported on Monday morning.
As reported, on October 19, Russia struck an energy facility in the region, knocking out power to almost 55,000 subscribers.
