Ghosts unit destroys 2 Russian Mi-8s near Simferopol, enemy ship near Crimea
The Ghosts special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR) has neutralized two Mi-8 helicopters with an estimated value of up to $30 million and an enemy ship in the temporarily occupied Crimea, GUR’s press service has said.
"Another result of the systematic combat work of the special Ghosts unit of the Ministry of Defense operating in termporarily occupied Crimea: good drones were used to hit the air base of the Russian invaders in Gvardiyske near Simferopol - two enemy Mi-8 helicopters were successfully hit," the message said on Telegram on Monday.
The estimated cost of the disabled helicopters is from $20 to $30 million.
"A dismal ending also befell a Muscovite military tugboat, probably a BUK-2190, in the bay of Sevastopol: during an air attack against the invaders on the peninsula, Ukrainian scouts directed a corresponding warhead at the vessel," the press service added.
