US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff said he would meet with Ukrainian officials in New York this week, Reuters reported, citing a Fox News official.

"US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff said on Tuesday he would meet with Ukrainian officials in New York this week, adding that Washington was continuing to negotiate with Russia as the United States sought to end Moscow's war in Ukraine," the agency reported.

"I'm meeting with the Ukrainians this week. So I'm meeting with them this week in New York, and that's an important signal. We're talking to the Russians every day," Reuters quoted Witkoff as saying on Fox News' "Special Report with Bret Baier."
