Zelenskyy: Important that main leaders of ‘Coalition of Willing’ are among countries ready to deploy contingent in Ukraine
The main leaders of the "Coalition of the Willing" should be among the countries that can potentially deploy a contingent of their military in Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is convinced.
"I think it is not for me to share my thoughts on ‘boots on the ground’ right now. I believe that this is important to hear from the big countries, the main leaders of the ‘Coalition of the Willing,’" Zelenskyy said at a meeting with German Finance Minister and Vice Chancellor Lars Klingbeil on Monday.
As reported, on August 21, Zelenskyy said that the exact number of countries that are ready to deploy troops within security guarantees for Ukraine is currently unknown to the Ukrainian side, and the members of the "Coalition of the Willing" are considering various types of participation.
