US President Donald Trump has promised to help in the exchange of all military, civilian, journalist, political prisoners, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

"We talked with the President of the United States of America, he agrees that it is not a simple system, but he will help me in the exchange of all for all, namely not only military, prisoners, primarily our military, but not only, but also civilians, journalists, political prisoners," Zelenskyy said during a briefing in Washington.

"We agreed to work on this," he added.
