Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called his latest meeting with US President Donald Trump "the best" and added that the leaders discussed a lot.
"I would like to thank President Trump for this meeting. This was our best meeting. This is important. In addition to the fact that we talked about a lot, a long conversation in detail," Zelenskyy said during a briefing in Washington.
The president thanked the US for the fact that the conversation was quite long, with a map prepared by the United States, and there was an opportunity to "not hearsay," but to really discuss who controls what on the battlefield.
"I even argued a little with the percentage that was on the map, because I am very well versed in the percentages that are temporarily occupied. But nevertheless, we did not have an argument, we had a really warm, good, substantive conversation," Zelenskyy said.
