Defense forces destroy command post of 85th brigade of Russian troops in Donetsk region – General Staff

The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed the command post of the 85th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Armed Forces in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

"According to preliminary data, as a result of the strike by a high-precision weapon, the brigade commander with the call sign Dnipro and five operational personnel were eliminated," the message says.

The General Staff clarified that more detailed information about the consequences of the defeat is currently being clarified.
