Russian drone attacks minibus near Kherson, two killed – prosecutor's office
Two people were killed and six were injured as a result of an attack on a minibus in the suburbs of Kherson by a Russian drone, Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office said.
"On August 9, 2025, at about 08:30, servicemen of the Russian armed forces carried out a strike with an unmanned aerial vehicle on a minibus moving in the suburbs of Kherson. Two civilians died as a result of the attack. It is also currently known that six people were injured to varying degrees. The information is being clarified. All those injured during the shelling were inside the vehicle," the office said.
A pretrial investigation has been launched into the fact of committing a war crime that led to the death of people (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
