Hotel fire in Lviv injures 6 people – city council
In Lviv, a fire broke out in the Vlasta Hotel on Monday, August 4. The cause of the blaze is being determined, the Lviv City Council has said.
"At the time of the fire, there were people in the building. All residents and employees were evacuated. Six people were hospitalized. One man received severe burns. An explosion occurred in his room earlier," the report states.
The causes of the explosion have not yet been established. An investigative and operational group is working at the scene.
The fire as a result of the explosion spread to an area of about 300 square meters, but has now been practically eliminated.
