Power outage shuts down Krakovets checkpoint on Polish border
Power supply is temporarily unavailable at the Krakovets checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Polish border, and therefore the passage of people and vehicles in both directions is currently suspended, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has said.
"Specialists are already working to restore the power supply. As of 10:00: 30 cars are waiting to leave Ukraine, 60 cars are waiting to enter Ukraine. Please take this information into account when planning your trip and, if possible, choose alternative checkpoints with less traffic," the message says.
As reported, passenger traffic at border checkpoints in the Lviv region increased significantly at the beginning of the summer. The Shehyni and Krakovets checkpoints remain the busiest.
