Ukraine manages to return three more children from Russian occupation – Yermak
As part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, three more Ukrainian children were rescued from the temporarily occupied territories and from the territory of Russia, head of the President’s Office of Ukraine Andriy Yermak said.
"Two teenagers, 16 and 17 years old, despite constant pressure and threats from the occupiers, refused to attend a Russian school and continued to secretly study online at a Ukrainian school, risking their safety. Now they are on the free territory of Ukraine, they can plan and build their future without fear," Yermak wrote on the Telegram channel.
He also noted that an 8-year-old girl who had been in Russia for several years was returned.
"After a long separation, she is finally back with her family," Yermak emphasized.
He thanked the Helping to Leave team for their help in rescuing the children.
