US Chargé d’Affaires ad interim to Ukraine Julie Davis discussed with Metropolitan of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine Epiphaniy the role of religious churches in supporting Ukrainian communities.

"Had a meaningful discussion with Metropolitan Epiphaniy to discuss the role of religious leaders, including those of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, in supporting Ukrainian communities. We reaffirmed the importance of religious freedom as a universal right. In times of both hardship and hope, faith serves as a source of strength and unity," Davis wrote on X.
