Umerov to lead Ukraine delegation in next Russia talks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Ukraine is preparing a new prisoner exchange, and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Rustem Umerov will lead the Ukrainian negotiating delegation at the next meeting with the Russian side.

"The necessary procedures for a new exchange have already begun right now - we are waiting for our people tomorrow. I really hope that everything will work out," the president said in an evening address.

Zelenskyy also added that the agenda of the meeting and key topics for Ukraine had been agreed upon.
