SBU employees who verify compliance with state secrets legislation did not receive access to case materials – SAPO head
Employees of the State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) who continue to conduct an inspection of compliance with the legislation on state secrets in the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) did not receive access to the materials of the proceedings themselves, SAPO head Oleksandr Klymenko has said.
"Currently, SAPO is conducting an inspection of compliance with the secrecy regime. It began yesterday and continues today. The SBU employees who are conducting this inspection did not receive access to the materials of the proceedings themselves, they conducted an inspection of organizational documents, general documents that regulate the activities of the secret department and some of the prosecutor's computers," he said at a briefing on Tuesday in Kyiv.
