Enemy attacks Poltava, fires breaks out, in particular in city's recruitment center, there are dead and wounded
Russian occupiers struck Poltava on Thursday morning, as a result of which a fire broke out in the building of the Poltava City Territorial Center for Recruiting and Social Support, the Telegram channel of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
"Today, July 3, at about 9:00, the enemy struck the city of Poltava. As a result of one of the hits, a fire broke out in the building of the Poltava City Territorial Center for Recruiting and Social Support. As a result of another hit, near the Poltava Regional Center for Recruiting and Social Support, a fire broke out in the territory of a private residential building. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded, in particular, among civilians," the message says.
The number of victims and injured and the extent of damage have not been reported.
"Emergency services are working on the scene. Additional information about the injured is being clarified and will be reported later," the Ground Forces reported.
