Zelenskyy announces early signing of law on dual citizenship
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the early signing of the law on dual citizenship.
"Just like dual citizenship. That is, I just really wanted it. I will sign this law in the near future," he said during a meeting with representatives of American business.
In turn, co-founder and CEO of Horizon Capital Olena Kosharna expressed gratitude for the adoption of this law and noted that people who have lived in Ukraine for over 30 years are also eager to apply for citizenship, in particular, she herself, as well as chairman of the board of Winner Group Ukraine Petro Rondiak and president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine Andy Hunder.
"I also wanted to thank you for the law [on dual citizenship]. Yes, I know how you personally worked on this, as well as with the diaspora, and everyone around the world. You can't imagine how much they want to apply to get this citizenship. I really want it. My daughter was born in Ukraine. I mean, we all can hardly wait," she noted.
