Sybiha: We must send right signals to aggressor by strengthening Ukraine’s capabilities
The Russian side is not demonstrating any desire to achieve peace, said Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha.
“Yesterday evening, Russia attacked a hospital in Kherson, injuring five patients and three medical personnel. This is a war crime, part of Russia's deliberate campaign to target hospitals. We recently visited Kherson with Budrys Kestutis and saw underground maternity wards and schools, as well as medics mounting electronic warfare units on top of first aid vehicles to protect them from Russian strikes. This is the terrible daily reality for people in Kherson and throughout Ukraine. Moscow showns no willingness to put an end to the killings and seek a diplomatic solution,” Sybiha said on X Wednesday.
He called on the international community to increase pressure on Russia.
“We must send the right signals to the aggressor by strengthening Ukraine’s capabilities and increasing pressure on Russia. This is the only way to force Moscow to end the war,” the minister summed up.
