Another stage of great swap completed: seriously wounded, seriously ill defenders returned from Russian captivity
Seriously wounded and seriously ill servicemen have returned to Ukraine from Russian captivity as part of the next stage of a major exchange, the Ground Forces command reports.
"Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular the Air Assault Troops, the Navy, the Air Force, the Troops of the Territorial Defense Forces, the Unmanned Systems Forces, as well as the State Border Guard Service and the National Guard, have returned to their native land. Among those released are defenders of Mariupol, who had been in captivity for more than three years. All the released defenders are men, privates and sergeants. Some of those released were considered missing in action," the Telegram channel says.
It is noted that this exchange is part of a larger exchange in the categories of military personnel under 25 years of age, as well as the seriously wounded and seriously ill.
