Merz after Russian attack calls for pressure on Moscow, aid to Ukraine for real peace talks
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz condemned Russia's latest massive attack on Ukraine.
"These are serious war crimes. This is terror against the civilian population. Russia is escalating the situation instead of negotiating. Assistance to Kyiv, pressure on Moscow: both are necessary for real peace talks," he said on the X social network.
