Portnov lived near the school where he was killed, police searching for killer – media
Former Ukrainian politician Andriy Portnov was shot dead near an American school in Pozuelo de Alarcon, an elite suburb of Madrid, and police are now searching for the killer, Los Replicantes reports.
"It is still unknown how long Portnov lived in Spain, but his children attended the American school in Pozuelo de Alarcon. In fact, he lived in a house very close to this exclusive school," the message says.
The National Police is reportedly currently investigating all the details of the crime, although it may be related to "score-settling or political issues." Crime scene investigators and the "V" homicide unit are currently investigating.
"The murder was the work of professional killers. The search continues for the shooter, a man wearing a blue tracksuit and a fanny pack, who escaped through Casa de Campo, and police are currently searching that part of the capital," the ezine says.
