French President Emmanuel Macron said that Vladimir Putin must prove that he really wants peace and accept a 30-day ceasefire.

"New discussion tonight with the US President along with Keir Starmer, Friedrich Merz and Giorgia Meloni following our discussions in Kyiv and then in Tirana. President Putin must prove tomorrow that he truly wants peace and accept the unconditional 30-day ceasefire proposed by President Trump, which is supported by Ukraine and Europe," he wrote on the social network X.
