Shmyhal discusses continued cooperation, joint projects with IFC Vice President
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal discussed continued cooperation and joint projects with IFC Regional Vice President Alfonso Garcia Mora.
"We appreciate IFC's support for our projects in the energy and housing sectors. I thanked them for the $2 billion financial program to support Ukrainian business, which was approved at the beginning of the full-scale war. As well as for the initiative to allocate EUR 25 million in grants from the EU for Ukrainian cities and communities to modernize housing for internally displaced persons," Shmyhal wrote on the Telegram channel following the meeting in Kyiv.
According to him, the parties coordinated plans and ideas for the future recovery of Ukraine, and also discussed ways to attract private capital.
"We also talked about expanding our cooperation to new sectors. We are strengthening work within the Unified portfolio of public investment projects. Thank you for understanding Ukraine's needs. We are grateful for the important work and assistance to Ukraine during Russia's full-scale aggression," the prime minister wrote.
