On Friday, April 11, participants of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (in the Ramstein format) will discuss air defense issues, and Thursday will be devoted to the issue of contingents, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
"On Thursday, the issue of the Coalition of the Willing will be discussed, which is precisely the contingents. On Friday, the issue of Patriot, the issue of air defense, the issue of additional defense packages will be discussed. As well as the issue of unifying states that are ready to open factories or production lines of one or another weapon in Ukraine," Zelenskyy said during a joint press conference with Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever on Tuesday.
As reported on April 3, Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth will not join the meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (Ramstein). The group will meet on April 11 in Brussels and will be chaired by Germany and the United Kingdom.
