Belgium announces new EUR 1 bln aid package for Ukraine – PM
Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever announced a EUR 1 billion aid package for Ukraine in Kyiv.
"Our Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot is here, as well as our Defense Minister, who is proud to announce a new decision on a one billion aid package for 2025 with the ambition to provide at least one billion each year during my term in bilateral military aid," De Wever said during a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
In addition, the Belgian Prime Minister said that country's Defense Minister Theo Francken "has a list of things that we are going to do in a very short time."
Zelenskyy thanked Belgium for the provided aid package.
