Defense Forces shoot down nine out of 46 UAVs overnight, 31 more drones lost from location - Air Force
Ukrainian defenders shot down nine drones on the night of Tuesday, and another 31 drone simulators were lost, the Telegram channel of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
"As of 08:00, the downing of nine Shahed-type attack UAVs and other types of drones in the east and north of the country has been confirmed," the message says.
In general, on the night of April 8 (from 19:00 on April 7), the enemy attacked with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from Kursk region of the Russian Federation and 46 Shahed-type strike UAVs and various types of simulator drones from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk region of the Russian Federation.
The air attack was repelled by mobile fire groups and electronic warfare units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Thirty-one enemy drone imitators were lost from location (without negative consequences).
As a result of the Russian attack, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions suffered.
