Historical experience shows that if Russia shown weakness, it will take advantage of it - President of Finland
The President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb, supported Ukraine’s position regarding the need to continue military supplies to Kyiv.
"I fully agree with President Zelenskyy. I think that historical experience shows that if you show Russia any form of weakness, they will take advantage of it. That is why I think that some of the key elements related to Ukraine's self-defense should concern, for example, intelligence," he said at a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki.
As reported, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska are paying an official visit to Finland on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
