USA does not yet complete work on rare earth metals deal with Ukraine – Rubio

The US government has not yet completed the agreement with Ukraine on rare earth metals, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in an interview with Fox News on Wednesday.

"I cannot confirm it [the completion of work on the agreement]. The Secretary-Treasury Bessent is working on that, he has done a great job putting it together. The last indication was received that it was very close to the finish line," Rubio said.

He stressed that this is a "good agreement" that will help "end this war."
