Yermak discusses with adviser to UK PM continuation of support for Ukraine
Head of the President's Office of Ukraine Andriy Yermak discussed with adviser to the UK Prime Minister on national security issues Jonathan Powell the continuation of support for Ukraine, in particular by strengthening the role of a united Europe in security issues, the press service of the President's Office reported.
"The interlocutors discussed security guarantees for the approach of a just peace. The head of the President's Office emphasized that it is important to strengthen the role of a united Europe to achieve this goal," the President's Office said in a statement on its website on Wednesday.
Yermak noted the leadership of Great Britain in supporting Ukraine and thanked for the military assistance packages.
The meeting also discussed the implementation of the century-old agreement between Ukraine and Great Britain and the strengthening of military-technical cooperation.
