Return of Ukrainian POWs discussed in UAE – Umerov

Defense Minister of Ukraine Rustem Umerov has said that during his visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a dialogue on the return of Ukrainian prisoners of war took place.

“As part of the delegation together with the President of Ukraine, I visited the United Arab Emirates. We discussed the issue of returning our captured defenders. We are grateful to our partners in the UAE for their support and assistance in this important process,” he said on Facebook.

The head of the Defense Ministry stressed that during the visit they discussed the issue of the return of the Ukrainian captured defenders.
