Russian army shells nine communities in Sumy region, casualties and damage reported
The Russian occupation forces shelled nine communities in Sumy region during the past 24 hours, causing damage and injuring five people, the regional military administration has said on Tuesday morning.
"During the day, the Russian forces mounted 56 shelling attacks on the borderline territories and settlements of Sumy region. Eighty-two explosions were recorded. The Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Novoslobidske, Putyvl, Hlukhiv, and Seredyna-Buda communities were attacked," it said.
The enemy dropped explosives from drones and shelled the settlements using mortars. One civilian was injured in the Seredyna-Buda community and another four people were injured in the Tynakivka community.
