The European Union has provided energy security guarantees to Hungary, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said.
"Hungary has received the requested guarantees of our energy security. The European Commission has pledged to protect natural gas supply and oil pipelines to EU member states," Szijjarto said on a social network.
"The integrity of energy infrastructure accommodating needs of EU members is a matter of security of the entire European Union," Szijjarto said.
"The European Commission also asks Ukraine to guarantee the continuation of oil supply to the EU," he said.
