Head of Khortytsia strategic group Hnatov appointed as dpty chief of General Staff to improve cooperation between HQ and front
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed Major General of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Hnatov to the post of Deputy Chief of the General Staff.
"Major General Andriy Hnatov has been appointed to the General Staff as Deputy Chief of the General Staff, and his task is to provide a new level of training for operational headquarters and the quality of interaction between headquarters and the front," Zelenskyy said in an evening video message.
According to him, "we discussed these and some other changes with Commander–in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky - tasks have been set at all levels."
