AFU General Staff: five enemy attacks repulsed in Kursk region, four battles still underway
Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kursk region have repelled five attacks by Russian forces since the beginning of the day and as of 16:00, four battles are continuing, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
"In Kursk region, the Ukrainian defenders repelled five attacks by the occupation forces, four clashes continue," the General Staff said in a Telegram message on Thursday.
It is stated that "in addition, the enemy carried out 14 air strikes, dropping 24 bombs, and carried out 275 attacks on positions of our troops and infrastructure facilities in Russia."
It is reported that in parallel, the occupiers shelled the border area of Sumy region, using artillery and aircraft in the areas of the settlements of Popivka, Tovstodubove, Ponomarenky, Studenky, Oleksandrivka, Tymofiyivka, Seredyna Buda, Malushyne and Shalyhyne.
