AFU General Staff: 44 enemy attacks recorded in Pokrovsk axis, 41 repelled, three battles ongoing
Along the entire front line, 67 combat clashes have been recorded since the beginning of the day and as of 16:00, 44 of them in Pokrovsk axis, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
"Russian invaders continue to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders. In total, 67 combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of the day," the General Staff said in a Telegram report on Wednesday.
It is reported that in Pokrovsk axis, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have made 44 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Zelene Pole, Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Pershe Travnia, Zvireve, Pokrovsk, Novoserhiivka, Kotlyne, Andriivka, Shevchenko, Dachne, Ulakly and Yantarne. "The Defense Forces are holding back the enemy's onslaught and have repelled 41 attacks, three clashes are still ongoing. The enemy's losses are being clarified," the AFU said.
In Lyman axis, the Russian Army attacked five times near the settlements of Pershotravneve, Novoserhiivka, Zelena Dolyna, Kuzmyne and in the direction of Serebriansky Forest. One clash remains unfinished.
It is also reported that the Defense Forces are repelling two attacks by the Russians near Chasiv Yar in Kramatorsk axis. In addition, the enemy launched an air strike with guided bombs on the settlement of Bondarne. In Toretsk axis, the enemy attacked eight times in Toretsk area.
"Today, in Novopavlivka axis, the aggressor attacked five times near the settlements of Kostiantynopil and Vremivka. Four clashes have been completed, and another one is still ongoing," the General Staff said.
In Kupiansk axis, the enemy carried out four assault actions near Lozova, Zahryzove, and Petropavlivka. Two clashes are ongoing.
In Dnipro axis, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled one enemy attack.
"In the operational zone in Kursk region, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled three attacks by Russian invaders during the day, and three more are ongoing. The enemy carried out about 200 attacks, including four from multiple launch rocket systems," the General Staff said.
According to the General Staff, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions in Kharkiv, Siversk, Orikhove, and Huliai-Pole directions. The situation in other directions of the front did not undergo significant changes.
