Yermak hopes Zelenskyy-Trump meeting to take place ASAP
Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak hopes that the meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. President Donald Trump "will take place as soon as possible."
"We need to do everything very quickly so that the new administration understands what is happening on the front line, what our strategy is… I hope that the meeting between President Zelenskyy and President Trump will take place as soon as possible. This is extremely important," Yermak said, speaking at the Peace Formula for Ukraine panel at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
At the same time, the President's Office head noted the need for close cooperation between Europe and the United States, adding that "without one of these elements, support will be weak."
Yermak also touched on the discussion of NATO, recalling that "North Korean soldiers are already very close to the NATO border." "This is a very important signal, and it concerns the security not only of Ukraine, but also the security of all of Europe and, ultimately, the whole world," he said.
