Ukraine's membership in NATO depends on Trump's position – Zelenskyy

The issue of NATO depends on the United States, if President Donald Trump is ready to see Ukraine in NATO, it will be in NATO, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

"The issue of NATO depends specifically on the United States and on the position of the President ... If Trump is ready to see Ukraine in NATO, we will be in NATO, and everyone will be in favour. If Trump is not ready to see us in NATO, we will not be in NATO," Zelenskyy said during a conversation with representatives of the international Media Council at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.

The President also noted that it is difficult to plan when Trump's special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, will arrive in Kyiv, but admitted that he might not "come by himself."
