Ukraine receives 249 vials of anti-diphtheria serum from WHO
Ukraine has received 249 vials of anti-diphtheria serum within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Health and WHO (World Health Organozation).
As reported on the website of the Ministry of Health, diphtheria antitoxin has been delivered to all regions. The distribution of diphtheria antitoxin between the regions was carried out by specialists from the Center for Public Health.
The Ministry of Health emphasizes that diphtheria antitoxin does not cure infection, but is a key tool for preventing toxic damage to the body during the treatment of patients in medical institutions.
