Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico will not come to Ukraine, Adviser to the head of the Presidential Office Mykhailo Podoliak said.
"No, I don't think Fico will come, because Fico receives political, reputational, financial income in other markets," Podoliak said on the national telethon on Friday.
As reported, Slovakian Prime Minister Fico invited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to a meeting near the state borders between Slovakia and Ukraine. Fico announced his invitation in a video address to Zelenskyy, posted on Fico's Facebook page.
Zelenskyy, in turn, invited Fico to come to Kyiv on Friday.
On January 16, it was reported that Fico plans to meet with Zelenskyy in the coming days, and the parties are working on choosing a suitable date.
