Ukraine to issue 'stuck' passports to over 80,000 refugees in Poland
The State Enterprise Document will issue the delayed documents to more than 80,000 Ukrainian citizens on the territory of Poland, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Iryna Vereschuk has said Thursday.
"Yesterday in Warsaw, President [of Ukraine Volodymyr] Zelenskyy met with the Ukrainian community. Among other things, the issuing of passports by the State Enterprise Document was discussed. In Poland alone, more than 80,000 citizens have been waiting for their documents for a long time. The President has resolved the issue. The passports will be issued. And not only in Poland – everywhere where they are stuck," she said on the Telegram channel.
Vereschuk thanked the Interior Ministry of Ukraine and the Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine for cooperation.
