German Defense Minister announces work within Big Five to improve joint venture capabilities in Ukraine
Work to improve the capabilities of joint ventures in Ukraine, as well as to expand cooperation between EU countries that work together with Ukraine, is being carried out within the framework of the Big Five (the Big Five European Union member states – Germany, Poland, France, Italy, Spain), said German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.
"Until March, until the next meeting in Paris, we are working on how to improve the capabilities of joint ventures in Ukraine, how to expand cooperation between European countries working together with Ukraine, to learn from each other's best practices in small working groups to determine what to do next when it comes to supporting Ukraine in what it needs," Pistorius told reporters before a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reports.
