Zelenskyy, Pistorius discuss future work of Ramstein format
On the sidelines of the meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine at the Ramstein airbase, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.
“Our discussion focused on military assistance to Ukraine for this year, the supply of additional air defense equipment, the future of the Ramstein format, and support for Ukrainian arms and equipment production,” Zelenskyy said on X Thursday.
According to the President, “only strong Ukraine’s positions on the battlefield and the empowerment of our warriors will help us force Russia into a just and lasting peace.”
Zelenskyy thanked Germany for its leadership in strengthening Ukraine and "for the thousands of lives we have saved together."
