Defense forces strike Russia's command post in Donetsk region – General Staff

The Ukrainian defense forces struck the command post of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army in the temporarily occupied Khartsyzk, Donetsk region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has said Wednesday.

"Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a precision strike on the command post of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army in the town of Khartsyzk, Donetsk region. Russian occupation troops used this building to coordinate attacks against the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the civilian population, in particular residents of Kurakhove," it said on the Telegram channel.

During the strike, all necessary measures were taken to minimize the risks for civilians.
