Rada summons Shmyhal to parliament on Jan 10 on defense, economy and energy
The Verkhovna Rada summoned Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal to parliament, MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak (the Holos faction) and MP Oleksiy Honcharenko (the European Solidarity faction) reported.
"They summoned Shmyhal to the Verkhovna Rada! The Rada supported my proposal! Let's hear why there is still no demobilization bill," Honcharenko wrote on the Telegram channel on Wednesday.
In turn, Zhelezniak clarified that 158 MPs out of the 150 required voted for this decision.
He later added that the prime minister would speak in the Verkhovna Rada on Friday, January 10, as part of the "hour of questions to the government."
"The topic is a bit broader: on financial support for the security and defense sector, the state of economy and energy, and ensuring their functioning in 2025," Zhelezniak added.
