Some 7,000 civilians staying in Pokrovsk

There are 7,000 civilians in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, Deputy Head of Pokrovsk City Military Administration Oleksiy Stebel has said.

"We realize that the situation in the community is rather difficult, the residents of our community are in a rather difficult situation, they need the help of the military administration. Therefore, we continue to provide and, as we said, we will continue to provide assistance to all needy people who, unfortunately, have not yet left our community. The Pokrovsk community itself is two towns and 39 villages. There remain a little more than 7,000 residents in Pokrovsk," he was quoted by the press service of the administration on the Telegram channel.

The official pointed out that the administration continues to provide assistance to the residents remaining in the city. When the security situation allows, utility services and building materials are provided.
