Ukrainians submit over 11 mln applications for Winter eSupport, more than 8 mln already receive funds – Shmyhal

Since the launch of the Winter eSupport program, more than 11 million applications have already been submitted by citizens, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.

"This year, we will also continue to implement the Winter eSupport initiative. We already have more than 11 million applications for the payment of UAH 1,000 under the Winter eSupport program. More than 8 million Ukrainians have already received this support," Shmyhal said at a government meeting on Tuesday.

The prime minister also recalled that in January, the Teacher's Supplement will be paid, within the framework of which each teacher will receive an additional UAH 1,000 "in hand" every month, and from September, this amount will be UAH 2,000.

"Also this month, another Winter eSupport program will be launched - accepting applications for a subsidy for renting housing for internally displaced persons. This will help thousands of our citizens in this difficult time," he added.
