Trump's Special Envoy for Ukraine postpones visit to Kyiv until inauguration – media
Donald Trump's future special representative for Ukraine Keith Kellogg has postponed his familiarization trip to Kyiv and other European capitals until the inauguration of the U.S. president-elect, Reuters reports.
According to the agency, the visit has been postponed. Kellogg is now expected to visit Ukraine after Trump takes office, although the date has not yet been determined. It is currently unclear why the official from the future administration of the newly elected U.S. president is postponing the trip.
According to the publication, retired Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg, who is to become Trump's special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, initially planned to travel to Kyiv in early January. The team also organized meetings with officials in other European capitals, including Rome and Paris.
The inauguration of the president-elect will take place on January 20.
