Russian troops lose 1,550 military, 59 armored vehicles over day – General Staff
During the day, the defense forces eliminated 1,550 occupiers, 14 tanks, 45 armored vehicles, 62 artillery systems, one MLRS, two air defense systems, 178 UAVs, and 120 vehicles and special equipment units, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Facebook on Monday morning.
"The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to January 6, 2025 approximately amount to: about 798,040 people of military personnel (plus 1,550) people, 9,700 tanks (plus 14) units, 20,164 armored combat vehicles (plus 45) units, 21,665 artillery systems (plus 62) units, 1,258 MLRS units (plus one), 1,034 air defense systems (plus two) units, 369 aircraft units, 331 helicopters, 21,625 operational-tactical UAVs (plus 178), 3,006 cruise missiles, 28 ships/boats, one submarine, 33,056 motor vehicles and tankers (plus 116) units, and 3,681 units of special equipment (plus four) units," the message reads.
